Indeed, video clips are not showing on my iOs9, but subtitles are still visible. Overall it is an average hidden objects game complemented with a story of romance and betrayal (and some skeletons hidden in the family closet).

Nothing like the other Victorian Mysteries Moonstone game. This one is too busy for iPhone. Im sorry I purchased.

Despite the review I downloaded it! I really liked this game! It makes you think and is not as easy as the other Victorian game.. Just when you think its over it changes direction! I give it a 5!! I just wish there were more of this game or similar to this game!!! More please!

Very fun, even better than the Moonstone mystery. The tasks are challenging without being frustrating.

Cant believe I wasted money on this. I thought it would be addictive like moonstone but it was frustrating and hard to advance. Pointless

I loved moonstone and I loved this even more! Its more of a story than moonstone which was more of a "find it" game. I REALLY want more games like this to play! I am addicted I tell you! (which is strange, because Im not much of a gamer) so please please please make more games like this!

Very interesting game! I love it. But plz help! I cant find what to put in the boiling pot (I guess water...where is it?) and dont know how to put mixed paint in the bottle...;o;

Yes, it is a bit more challenging than Moonstone & I did feel a little frustrated at first ... But once you figure it out - youll have a blast! I really enjoyed playing this game & hope that there is more, "Victorian Mysteries" in the works! Buy the app & go on a Victorian Ispy adventure!!!

I look everywhere for these types of games ! What a gem this one was! Enjoyed every min of it, beautiful graphics, great puzzles! And for the money it was long enuff to enjoy this purchase! Keep up the good work, Ill buy these all day long ! Great job!

Completely enjoyed this game! Very addictive and entertaining. My only complaint is that I would have preferred it to be a tad longer. It started out fine, but at the very end it seemed to feel rushed and ended a little abruptly, I thought. Perhaps it was shortened for the iPhone version? Not sure, but felt like a step or two was missing. Anyway, it was great fun. It was not overly difficult, yet challenging enough to feel gratification at completing the tasks and puzzles. I also played Moonstone, but this game far exceeds that one! This is much more intriguing, requiring more problem-solving skills over strictly finding hidden objects. Ended with a tease implying there may be more games to follow, and I truly hope they are equal to (or better than) to Woman in White. The bar has been set with this game! Addictive, entertaining, and smart! I really recommend this one!!

Production value is nice, but the inventory system and general mechanics to move around the screen and select points of interests is horrific. Too frustrating to play, passing this and wait for a better puzzler for your money.

Very hard to select items from the inventory. It keeps closing when trying to touch the arrows! Got stuck on the painting. Very difficult to figure out what youre supposed to do????

I downloaded this game because I had a wonderful experience playing The Yellow Room volume in the Victorian Mysteries series. This game is not distributed by Big Fish so the quality control is definitely lacking. The first 20 seconds of the game after the LOGO screen is black - just sound FX and music - the graphics do not show up at all! Then, when you press "PLAY" the game goes to a black screen AGAIN with only a mans dialogue that clearly is supposed to be illustrating the graphics. FIX THIS PLEASE. I wish there was a try before you buy model!

waste your time or money. Boring, garbage.

The story is good and the graphics are ok. My only complaint is that the intro and following cutscenes are all black. I hear it and see the captions, but nothing is there. Someone needs to look into this since it appears Im not the only one running into this issue.
